Bathroom update - I had my inaugural shower on Sunday - even though the glass partition didn't go in until Monday. I wanted to check out the water pressure from the shower head because my project guy had told me that if it was too weak, there's a regulator in the shower head that the plumber can remove.
Soooo all that's left now is the drawer pulls on the vanity (which somehow got lost and had to be re-ordered) and the mirror (which got damaged in transit and is being returned and re-shipped).
My bedroom is finally no longer wrapped in plastic. Funnily enough, I feel hesitant to move back in. I've gotten to like the mattress in the guest room, and it's also quieter there. My neighbors on the master bedroom side of the house have a couple of dogs that sometimes bark to be let in in the middle of the night. But I imagine I'll be back in there eventually, maybe after swapping the beds.

I can understand how you've come to like your spare room. When I was a kid we had unheated bedrooms so it got pretty chilly in the winter. I took to sleeping in the basement with the boiler and after a while it felt more comfortable than my own room.
Interesting…my basement is quite cold, but then I have a forced air furnace, not a boiler. I hope you now have heat in your bedroom!

The water pressure is....adequate. I could definitely manage with it, but as long as it's an option to improve it, I'm gonna go for it.
Now I'm really confused - gay "boy shorts" (that term kills me!), and shaking your balls at us! 😂 But Happy HNW regardless.
Every once and a while I venture into the spare bedroom in the finished basement (where my son used to be and still uses during visits) and think DAMN this is a nice place (redone after he left permanently).
I started going in there occasionally during the last year, if I had insomnia and didn't want to bother HWD. And now after sleeping there for the last two months I kinda want to stay. I'm sure part of it is that there is a lot less clutter than the "main" bedroom, which has a dresser and a wardrobe.

It was slightly on the wimpy side so I did ask to have the regulator thingie removed. I’m sure it’s to conserve water. I don’t even shower every day so I’m going to try not to feel guilty.
