First, today's musical selection. I watched The Color Purple last weekend (the new one, not the old one with Oprah Winfrey). Duh, I didn't know it was a musical! Musicals sometimes aren't my thing, but there were some great gospel-tinged numbers and wonderful dancing. And, especially appropriate for this venue, a sizzler from Taraji P. Henson:

Have you seen Dune Part 2? I watched Part 1 recently. I was kind of expecting to be bored out of my gourd, but it actually managed to hold my attention. Maybe the half gummie helped. Or, maybe it's because I like looking at Timmy Chalamet. This is just an excuse to share this meme. Joey Tribbiani should definitely be in Dune Part 3.
Finally, I had a little adventure today. A few months ago I had coffee with a local member who's a reader. Really nice guy. After our meet he made an offer to give me a massage. No expectations of anything else happening, he just wanted to do something nice for me.
I felt indecisive about it and never followed through, but the past couple of weeks my back has really been bothering me, so I got in touch with him. This morning he came by at 8 am. I let him in wearing a robe, and he followed me upstairs to my bedroom where I'd set up my massage table. In a gentlemanly way, he turned his back to take off the sweatshirt he had layered over his shirt for the morning chill. I took off my robe and hopped on the table.
Do you think it's brazen or unwise for me to get naked so quickly in front of someone I hardly know? Maybe. I had decided I trusted him, so there didn't seem to be any point in shilly shallying. Plus I knew he had to be on his way by 9 am or so.
He gave me a very good massage - zeroed right in on the spots all around my shoulder blades that have permanent knots. In the beginning he left the cover sheet over my ass, but eventually he did gradually move it aside and do some work on my glutes. This guy is a butt guy - big time - but he didn't cross any boundaries.
And my back feels much better now! Sometimes it pays to take a chance.

I read the first four Dune books but I was disappointed with the first film and I doubt it did much for Sting's acting career although I think the only other film with him in it I saw was Quadrophenia and I thought it was a crap film. I am looking forward to seeing the second part of the remake, from your comment it sounds like a third is on the cards.
I don't have any concrete plans with the guy who gave me a massage, but I did just make an appointment for a professional massage next week, since my back continues to bother me.

The new Color Purple was actually quite good, but I'd be curious to compare the old one to it now, since I haven't seen that one since it first came out.

Massages are wonderful to get and also to give. Have you ever had a good foot massage or facial massage. I love giving Diane massages of that sort. I tell her, at least half seriously, that my hands have an addiction to massaging her face, brow, scalp and neck.

I have a good friend in the kink community who is a trained massage therapist and loves to give foot massages, so yes, I've had that pleasure. Face massages are also nice, although I think I've only gotten those in context of receiving a professional massage.

Wish i could dance like that in a room without having every horndog on the planet in my face wanting something i did not advertise as available lol when i first joined the site, 4+ years ago, i was a mod in a room with a dancer who was kind of like in the video...and sure there was sexy cybersx in and out of the room...damn it was a party central time. i even danced on the bar a few times.....but things have changed...it is just too overwhelming, even in a smaller group chat room...at least for me...
