Yeah, it was a real song before it became part of a commercial.
That yoga pose has some definite possibilities if only it was taken from the opposite direction.
Happy HNW.
I’ll take that under advisement….
I think the knitted shorts are fab!
Thank you!
I can still sing the jingle
You look fabulous!!
🎶 🎵 If you dare wear short shorts, Nair for short shorts 🎵🎶
(too bad that stuff stunk to high heaven!!)
I remember hearing that on the radio....love that introduction too.
You can find some sassy girls singing it on a NY stoop on YouTube. 😊
Happy HNW
nice shorts
Thanks!
Happy HNW. You always make the effort to embrace the theme.
Thanks, I do my best. 😊
You certainly can hear their east coast accent in that song!
You reposts are fine. At least you had some. My fertile brain was nonproductive this week.
Good catch, BJ, I looked them up and I see that they were from New Jersey.
Your HNW productions are so clever that you deserve to take a week off now and then. ❤️
Smart love the toenails and knitted pair! Creep is perpetual in my world.
Bad habit creep! It's so insidious.
The knitted shorts are so cute 😁
Thanks, I’ll have to try to find an occasion to wear them this summer!
Nice pics. 💕
Cute song, 😊
Cleanup is perpetual, isn't it?
Today, digitized tech melds and time-syncs everything seamlessly. Back then... not so much. 😮
Cleaning up my act? Yes, perpetual, sigh. I just enjoy sugar and other carbs way too much.
My favorite are the ones you made, they're so cute!
Happy HNW
Thanks! ❤️
It may have been a year ago you were in Italy and this year's Giro d'Italia has already been done and dusted with a Tadej Pogačar victory. I'm backing him to win the Tour de France this year. Jonas Vingegaard, the winner of the last two Tours de France, is recovering from a serious accident.
Netflix is now doing annual documentaries about the TdF - the one about 2023 just started airing; I watched the first episode last night. Thanks for being a spoiler spunky!!
@smartasswoman I didn't mean to be a spoiler. But because Pogačar and Vingegarrd are young, this I suspect will be the ongoing rivalry. It will probably go down to the respective strengths of their teams.
Vingegaard''s Jumbo-Visma team, now rebranded as Team Visma, are a monster of a team'. The team has at least three riders who could win a grand tour. Pogačar's team, UAE Team Emirates, has only one rider to win despite their sponsor having the most money.
How can a Dutch-financed team beat an oil-rich Middle Eastern-financed team?
@smartasswoman Sorry I'm being a TdF nerd here, I forgot about Wout van Aert also on Team Visma's ranks. He's a brilliant rider. He can roll, he can sprint and he can climb but whether his climbing skills are enough to win a grand tour is another matter. He's the classic Classics rider.
@spunkycumfun my reply to you seems to have disappeared - we'll see if it magically resurfaces later.
@spunkycumfun ok trying again - I used to do TdF Eye Candy posts featuring good looking riders, if I were still doing them Wout would be more of an eye candy contender than Vingegaard or Pogačar.
@smartasswoman I remember tour Tour de France eye candy posts. I don't think Jonas Vingegaard will ever make your list!
@spunkycumfun I mean...Jonas is better looking than a lot of riders I've seen. But not one of my faves. Maybe I should do a post with all of the wonky looking bicycle racers (you could almost argue for Wout to be included in that one too, just because of his overly styled hair).

Perfect musical accomyment
@bignicktx I thought so. 😊
