I saw a video of this guy on a site that I can't link here. It blew me away, so I had to go see if there was anything of him on YouTube. This isn't the same video, but it shows his skills. The circle is called a Cyr Wheel. I don't believe I've ever seen this used before. The funny thing is, you see cyr wheel videos of other people and they're all glitzed up, or at the very least wearing some spandex. This dude comes out in his casual pants and zippered jacket and knocks it out of the park.

Cyrwheel, wow, I've never seen a performance before. Reminds me of the skating skills of olympic stars.....absolute control of the body and in the this case a wheel.
Yes, many of his body positions reminded me of figure skating maneuvers!

Six minutes of this is a bit much. But it it were some babe clad in spandex I might feel differently about it.

@smartasswoman My girls and I are total fans...have seen at least a dozen shows. It's not always a win-win-win when we go out together. So I like that we have this.

I've never heard of a Cyrwheel, much less seen one used. Awesome. I did notice that he was wearing special shoes...a little like jazz shoes.
Acrobats and high-wire performers wear similar shoes because they're lightweight and have good grip.
