I haven't really been feeling it lately for taking HNW pictures, and the thought drifted through my mind of taking the spunky approach of posting pictures of someone else. However, I think it's important to be age appropriate. Did you notice that spunky, a man in his 60's, has been posting pictures of David Gandy, who is 44? (I apologize for not remembering spunky's exact age. I went to check his profile and then remembered the current glitch that people's age doesn't show up on their profile). Sorry spunky - just had to rib you a bit about that. I'm sure that spunky will say he has no control over the age of the handsome celebrity who is hacking his blog!!

Christie is 70 and wrote this poem for her 70th birthday:
Looking in the mirror on my 70th Birthday and what do I see,
I’m finally happy with the person looking back back at me

Well, it is a bit sappy but I like the sentiment. Christie also went public with a skin cancer diagnosis last year, which I appreciate.

Because I’ve witnessed any number of people not making it. I think that people who are embarrassed about being older are just stupid and ungrateful. Fran is almost exactly my age, born only 5 days before me. She's the president of the Screen Actors Guild and led them through the 2023 strike. She also started a non-profit called Cancer Schmancer in 2007, after surviving a uterine cancer diagnosis, dedicated to ensuring that women's cancers are detected more early. She was appointed Public Diplomacy Envoy for Women's Health Issues in 2008. In traveling throughout the world, she supported U.S. public diplomacy efforts, including working with health organizations and women's groups to raise awareness of women's health issues, cancer awareness and detection, and patient empowerment and advocacy.

Andie MacDowell is 66 and appeared in two of my favorite movies, Groundhog Day and Four Weddings and a Funeral. I love her wild hair and fact that she stopped dying it and let it go gray.

Maybe avatar would be a better word than doppelgänger. Doppelgänger implies that they are a dead ringer for us. Avatar can be whatever our imagination desires!
I did have very curly hair back in the 80's when so many people had perms. Andie's is much better than mine was!

Oh, I like that option! It figures - I was going from an online article about “hot women over 60” and I don’t think she’s exactly considered to be hot , so she didn’t show up there. She’s not unattractive, just not blatantly sexy.
If her actual personality is anything like the roles she’s played, I would say that’s a pretty good match with me too.
I'm voting Andie MacDowell, but it's only because of the Four Weddings and a Funeral film in which she appeared with Hugh Grant, another one of my doppelgängers. And let's not forget that important umlaut!
I'm just pleased that this doppelgänger glitch isn't just specific to me. The site needs to take this glitch far more seriously as if it was just in our minds.

Interesting. I’ll take your word for it. When I was writing this I did watch an interview that Katie Couric did with her and I liked what she had to say. I don’t have a southern accent though 😉 (but think hers is charming).
