How apropros that this was the temperature when I woke up at 6:30 am:
Proud of myself that I still made it to the gym for Total Body class and yoga. After I got home HWD helped me out with a few photos (school was called off today because of the cold so he got to stay home).
The first two featuring my newly finished sweater using the rainbow skein set. It is super baggy and in order to use all of the colors the sleeves ended up ridiculously long. Oh well. NOT going to rip this one out and start over, seeing as it took me so long to finish it. If I ever use that pattern again I will definitely make adjustments.

You certainly have a right to be proud that you went out to the gym for exercise this morning. This cold is bad. Not having snow on the ground with this cold is worse for both the plants and animals.

Today is very tolerable, 33 degrees currently!
I do like when HWD takes photos of me because I like to see myself the way he sees me. If I had taken the top two photos, I would have been self conscious about my legs looking fat. He took them and said "look, these are pretty cute" so who am I to argue?
@smartasswoman It is nice to have someone take your HNW pictures. HWD is correct saying your legs look great and not fat at all. Women have been taught to be way to self conscious of your perceived faults.
Quite a bounce up in the temperature. Hasn't gotten up so high here but still much better than yesterday. We are even getting some light snow! I think New Orleans is getting more though.

As a woman that has almost never had a sweater with long enough sleeves, I love the rainbow sweater with too long sleeves. Oddly, I have several handmade (by others) scarves, but I almost never think to wear them. A shame really...just taking up space on my coat rack.That is a lovely green color though.
I don't wear scarves very often either! It's not often that I'm spending time outside when it's cold enough to need one. I do have a pretty striped one that I'll sometimes wear with a neutral sweater.
