Gulf of Cheap Eggs
Gulf of Egotistical Buttwipes
Gulf of Go Fuck Yourself Elon
Gulf of WTAF?
I could go on...
Hey you! Long time no see.
@smartasswoman I need to get out more
The maps are funny. Looking back at the flurry of signed executive orders, the Gulf of America one seems the most reasonable and I'm not for one moment think it's reasonable!
He does love to sign things. I saw commentary saying that he's content to be the figurehead and let Elon do most of the major disruption. ๐ฎ
@smartasswoman That's just Trump using Musk as a lightning rod to take the blame. If things go bad. Musk can be fired. I think Trump is running rings around Musk.
The best one I've seen lately labeled it the "Gulf of What Does This Have to do with Grocery Prices".
WHAAAT you're not going to a yoga retreat at the New Riviera (fka Gaza)?
Can you believe that Gaza nonsense? It is very clear that true to his background before politics, the only thing he's interested in is acquiring and developing property.
"Gulf of Fragile Masculinity" pretty well sums it up. That orange POS is the most pathetic clown to ever enter politics.Total trash!! Excellent post!
Hey Ho! Let's go!
I also saw this the other day.
You're quite talented! Very stylish!
And thanks for the maps too, I needed the laugh! ๐
@Cobalt2371 Glad you enjoyed. ๐
This is great that you for sharing
Youโre welcome. โบ๏ธ
Gulf of Fragile Masculinity....ha, perfect. You are going to be a 'travelin woman' over the next 12 months! Good for you.
Yeah, this is more similar to what life was like right after I retired. My goal then was to travel as much as I could afford (and could stand - because the long trips do get to be tiring for me).
The pandemic interrupted that and I started to have different feelings about travel...but maybe I'm getting a bit of my mojo back. I think I'll be doing more things like this yoga week, and fewer "touristy" trips.
Cool hat. You did too good a job last year on the bike tour. You are going to keep moving up. I know how much you want that to happen.
I didn't feel like I did that great - I'm not exactly "unflappable" in situations like the bike crash that happened. Hopefully this next time will go a bit better.
@smartasswoman practice makes perfect. With several jobs I had over the years had many days that started with a phone call and then spend hours dealing with that one phone call. You thought about what to do and did it. That is what makes a difference. Someone that sits and does nothing, does just that, nothing.
I have entirely too many hats and caps for someone who doesn't wear them, but I'd totally add that one to my collection, that pattern looks so fascinating!
I know what you mean about hat overload! ๐ I tend to knit hats as a "palate cleanser" after knitting something big like a sweater. So I have a large collection. I try to give them away periodically but they do accumulate.
Great hat, couldn't do the yoga poses if I tried, love the maps.
I believe there's a motion in the european parliament to rename the union as the Eunited States of Eumerica. Of course, the UK voted to USAxit . . .
I love it! You guys wouldn't be interested in invading and taking us over, would you? Maybe that whole Revolutionary War thing was a mistake.
If I tried that pose, I'd end up rolling over and flat on my back ๐
Cute hat ๐
I almost did end up flat on my back. ๐ I can kinda do the basic version (the top one) if it's just a static pose, but he had us moving our arms around to different positions which made me quite unsteady.
@staci_19702 that sounds quite dangerous! ๐ณ
Committees are always fun. Good for you. ๐ค
Thanks for sharing some warm pics. ๐
Your hat looks warm and stylish. ๐
And especially fun when it's a 7:30 am zoom call! ๐ฌ I think several of the people on the steering committee have actual jobs that get in the way of their volunteer work.
Hopefully I will have more fun pictures next January!
The map is hilarious. I look at all that stuff as jokes. I cannot see any of it happening. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Your hat is fabulous! That looks super complicated!! You did a stellar job!
Yoga in Mexico sounds divine
You're right, the map's not going to happen, but there's a lot of other stuff underway....
Thank you on the hat.
Oh BTW I take it back on saying the maps not going to happen - look what I saw when I opened google maps just now.
That's some amazing knitting. Really cool. And curse that crescent lunge twist...boobs and belly get in the way of that one. Lol.
For me the main impediment is balance. Some days I've got it, other days... not so much.
What a great pattern on that hat!
It was billed as a beginner pattern (for beginners to brioche, anyway - I think a total newbie to knitting would struggle). And I think it was just right. There was enough complexity to keep it interesting but not so much as to overwhelm.
