Great clip
Beautiful rainbow! The scenery is breathtaking! I loved the vids with the falls.
No dull landscapes in Iceland! 😊
Wonderfully crisp and clear vignette. That was cool.😲
Good job: thanks for sharing. 🤗
You and your camera earned a "thumbs up." ðŸ‘
Thank you!
We were at the same wool place. Daughter came home with a suitcase full of wool from several places there.
So far I just have a third of a suitcase. 😄 But there’s still three days left….
@smartasswoman She always has more than she can use. Planning a trip for next year and she is already looking at yarn stores. Like there are no stores here????
Beautiful!
But stop influencing me dammit... I spent a few hours yesterday contemplating a 9 day Barcelona trip with a solo female group next year.
Oooo that sounds FUN. Do it!
You are awesome at stitching your travels together!
Aw, thanks! iMovie really does make it easy.
Geyser was really cool to see. How are you handling the crowds?
It really hasn’t been unmanageably crowded. In a couple places I had to wait a minute to get to the railing at a big overlook, but aside from that…
We are keeping a nice balance between the big popular attractions and other places that are more out of the way.
The scenery is beautiful! I love the rainbows, waterfalls, and geysers. Thank you for sharing.
We had three separate rainbows appear during our first evening’s dinner - it was quite amazing.
A brilliant clip, which brought back very fond memories though it was much colder when I went. It was freezing. My mistake, January in Iceland isn't a good idea.
One of the things that struck me, and it was hinted at in the clip with the hot dogs mention, is the influence of American culture in Iceland. (Don't tell Trump, he'll want the island as part of America!)
Also I noticed that naughty troll in the clip unless it was a naughty garden gnome!
January, how intrepid of you! I think it would be interesting to see in winter - frozen waterfalls, etc - but one would definitely need heavy duty gear and I would think the short daylight hours would be a limitation.
Another nice bit of documentary work! I've long heard that Iceland was enormously popular, perhaps a bit too much for its own good. I read your reply to BJ about the crowds, so now my question is - Is it very near season end now?
Probably not intentional, just a fluke of the language, but interesting name for the hot dog place! 😂
They get visitors year round, but yes, the high season probably ends in September? This particular trip I’m taking is on the schedule through mid October.
And yes, obviously that was the reason I took a picture of the hot dog sign?
