I didn't find it so. I suppose it's outdated to refer to an adult female as a "girl" but there are plenty of other songs that are guilty of that. Here is what I found from the song writer:

To me the lyrics depict a successful businesswoman. Sharp as a tack, touring the facility and picking up slack.
