I love a good basic pizza pie. Like @auraaviatik6 , 4 cheeses makes a perfect pizza pie. When I go to Chicago... Oooooohhh. Chicago-style pizza is more pie than pizza! Deep dish is a thing of beauty that is beyond description. It must be experienced.
I always like pepperoni on my pizza.
I make a great turkey pot pie with leftovers after every Thanksgiving, and a ham/broccoli/cheese pie with leftovers from the Great Grave Heist aka Easter
Those are the best pot pies I think too..
Pies are great for leftovers.
Chicken pot pie
A popular choice.
I go with pizza. I had a fried pizza in Naples, which was tasty. It is a folded treat.
I'd love to have a pizza in Italy but I need to go to Italy first.
I chose turkey pot pie. 😎
I've never had turkey pie nor a pot pie.
Fully filled cream pie after the couple fucked and degrading me with all her juices while she is grabbing my head forceing me to slowly eat all the cream out of her. While i'm bound and orally dominanted
Thanks for stopping by.
The Cornish pasties look delicious. I voted for calzone. I love the richness. I eat one piece and I'm done, LOL. Though I love the savory hand pies which look like your Cornish Pasty.
Cornish pasties are very popular here. They can be made with any filling. They're delicious especially when dipped in ketchup.
I'm willing to try each pie at least once.
I'll try all pies except those with offal in.
It's got to be "hortopita," a.k.a. Greek wild greens pie.
The filling is a mix of bitter wild greens and herbs (chard, dandelion, nettle, sonchus, chervil, hartwort, etc) when combined with the sweetness of scallions & leeks and plenty of olive oil (of course) resulting in a suprisingly tasty pie - and healthy to boot.
Hortopita sounds very appetising.
My fav pub serves the best vindaloo curry pie 😁
I don’t make pies all that much, but when I do, I make apple pie
I love curry, especially vindaloo, but I've never had a curry pie.
Pepper Steak , Steak in a creamy pepper sauce.
I've never had that in a pie. It sounds good though.
@spunkycumfun Is quite popular over here .Seems if google is correct originated in Zimbabwe , most likely was brought over when the Rhodesians came to SA.
@taurean62dbn It sounds that South/Southern African food needs to be more widely sampled.
Pizza, 4 cheese
but not often, and also tuna "empanadillas" , is something similar to cornish pasties.
I like the sound of empanadillas.
@spunkycumfun It sounds fun also in Spanish
@AuraAviatik6 I like the idea of Spanish fun!
I really enjoy Turkey and Chicken Pot Pies, as they are such a comforting food on a cold day. All that you have shared look amazing, what another great battle you chose.
I hope your Thursday is just as Thrilling..🙂
I've never had a turkey pie.
When's it going to end you may ask!
Indeed. 😂 I can't remember the last time I had a savoury pie. My mom used to serve chicken pot pie from time to time, it was awful.
I give you my promise that this series will end!
Scotch mince pie - you can even get them deep fried!!
I wonder if there's any food that can't be got deep-fried in Scotland!
@spunkycumfun
We'll deep fry anything - pizza, oreo, butter (yes!), ice cream (that's actually deelish!), pickled beetroot, pickled onions, soft boiled eggs . . . we don't discriminate!!
I was actually distraught when Lithuania was admitted to the EU and they wrested away our mantle of heart attack nation of Europe!!
@lindoboy100 Deep-fried ice cream sounds good.
I could be mistaken, but I think including pizza in this poll was a mistake (all the twists could be a poll of its own), and it will be the easy winner.
Good choice not to include cream pies here though! 😂
I was trapped by the logic of a definition of a pie to include pizza.
A cream pie will feature in my next poll on sweet pies.
@sleek7124 I never ever considered a pizza as a pie until I read Wikipedia. I may take up your suggestion.
@sleek7124 I'd like to know so I can take them to court!
