Juan Maeda is a Japanese illustrator-cum-cartoonist.
His artwork often features acts of sadomasochism.
Alluring Woman:
Born in Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island, in 1939, his illustrations adorn many adult comics, one DVD cover of an Akira Naka porn film, and the 1998 book A Case of the Murder on D Hill.
Though I very much like his artwork, I haven't been able to find out much about Juan Maeda, probably not helped by not being able to understand the Japanese language!

Do you like Juan Maeda's artwork?
Though I know little of Juan Maeda, I do know that he shouldn't be confused with Juan de Maeda, a sixteenth-century Spanish architect, draughtsman, builder and sculptor, nor with John Maeda, Microsoft's Vice President of Design and Artificial Intelligence.

While I can appreciate his artistic talent, the only one I like is the first one.

I don't think his artwork is much known about outside Japan.
@spunkycumfun Possibly not, but that style of art that approaches 'fictional realism,' like in comic books, fascinates me.
@AuraAviatik6 Juan Maeda illustrated a lot of comic books, adult ones. Manga is big in Japan.

It took several attempts. I tend to schedule my blog posts so I have a chance to check that the images are intact before they go live.
The problem image was the penultimate one. I guess the site is scared of spiders!
But there's still time for images to disappear!
@spunkycumfun Yes, I understand what you're saying. That's why I'm thinking about opening a 'secondary profile' that would allow me to see what other users are actually seeing on their screens, because it's happened to me before that I was seeing a photo in one of my posts, but apparently other users weren't.
@AuraAviatik6 It's frustrating that what one sees isn't what others see. the site could do better on this front.
