Often when meeting other couples to swing with, my partner would have to drive - I couldn't drive - quite long distances to meet another couple at a hotel or their home. My partner got a bit tired of driving, even if we tried to make a weekend of things.

When swinging as couple, there are a few questions to address. For example, are you a condom or a bareback couple? Are you a play separately or a play together couple? If together, are you a separate or a same room couple? Also there's different types of swinging. We never saw that couple again. Apart from giving us drinks, they were terrible hosts. The couple did not communicate what they wanted to do with us if indeed anything. An invitation back to their place suggested to us that they wanted to do something with us. They didn't manage our expectations at all well.
