One couple mailed my partner and I saying that they would like to meet with us in Nottingham where we lived. We exchanged face pictures, and my partner and I both agreed that they above the line, which meant potentially shaggable. And we phoned them and everything seemed okay. So the meet was on and a date was made.
The couple were prepared to travel to Nottingham to meet us, which made it easy for us. They booked themselves into a Travelodge budget hotel in the city centre. Though inferior to a Premier Inn mainly because the bedrooms aren't as well furnished and their breakfasts aren't as good, it didn't matter much to us at the time as, at most, we were only going to have sex in a Travelodge bedroom.
When people came to visit Nottingham for the first time, I often took them to the pub, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, which was first opened in 1189 and was used as a rallying point for King Richard I's crusades to the so-called Holy Land - see YE OLDE TRIP TO JERUSALEM. How times have changed?!
The pub, which claims to be the oldest pub in England, is set within caves and lies underneath Nottingham Castle. It's steeped in history even if not glorious history. It is a 'wow!' pub. We agreed to meet the couple at this 'wow!' pub.
We had a meal and a few drinks at the pub. Conversation was very good, perhaps too good as in hindsight we probably had too many beers. During the conversation t transpired that the woman of the other couple was Canadian. That's always a good sign to me. We were getting on well, and my partner was getting on well with the other man. The other couple invited us back to their hotel, which meant their hotel bedroom, as Travelodge unlike Premier Inn doesn't do bars. We readily agreed to go back to their place.
After a very short walk to their hotel, about a hundred yards, we made ourselves comfortable in their hotel bedroom. I carried on chatting with the woman, we were both fully clothed. My partner was chatting with the man. He soon started to take my partner's clothes off. Not a problem initially, but it soon became a problem. He started to make sexual advances on my partner and I could tell from my partner's expressions to me that this wasn't welcome. Things were going too fast and too rough, and solely on his terms.

My partner clearly wasn't happy at the way things were going. He was being very rough. I said to the woman that this isn't going right, she replied that this is how he is. I said that may be the case but we don't have to be at his beck and call. I told the woman that we're going to leave and stood up. I asked my partner whether she wanted to leave, she indicated that she did. She quickly put her clothes back on and we left. Obviously we never saw that couple again.
And that's the closest I've ever got to having sex with a Canadian.

I like firm handling but not rough. There's a fine line between the two. Easiest way to know if the line has been crossed is if I say, "Ouch." and stop.

Of course I'm not generalising on the basis of my single experience. And of course I realise it's down to the individual and not nationality.

I have never had sex with a Canadian, although I have been to Canada. Maybe if I did have sex with a Canadian now, it would depend where. Either I will get deported or will have to pay heavy in taxes. Not the best time for it.
