I have a black belt in partial arts.
LOL. I think I may have that belt!
I was going to be a procrastinator but I decided to put it off for a while.
LOL. That's the only way to deal with procrastination!
No, I donβt procrastinate... willingly, but often life forces me to do it...
I wish I could blame life for my procrastination!
I do tend to procrastinate, to a mild degree. I address it by making lists that I call "The Things I'm not Getting Done". This helps to pressure me (and also to not forget items).
Happy HN-C.
That's reverse psychology.
Welcome to my world
It's not a bad world until the pressure gets too much!
I procrastinate a lot while staring at my vacuum cleaner
I always stare at my vacuum cleaner ... and toilet brush!
I think we can all suffer from that, why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
In some ways it's a sensible strategy.
When Iβm away from my job, I procrastinate quite a bit. When Iβm working I never procrastinate. There are many times where I sleep too much on my days off when I should be hanging out with friends. And I often put off getting groceries and I let the gas in my car get really low.
I love sleeping!
Oh yeah procrastination is an art form lol
It seems there are quite a few artists here!
I procrastinate some things. It's a trait I dislike in myself so I work to shake it off and accomplish my tasks. Reality may not be fun but torturing myself with the 'what ifs' is way worse.
Hugs!!
Stressing out what I put off doing is far worse than doing those things!
I'm a terrible procrastinator. Except when it comes to knitting. Always have time for that!
It's great you've got your priorities right.
No I don't procrastinate unless it's necessary. For me I like taking care of things and getting them done. I hope you get those emails sent soon and you get a wonderful response back from them.
I hope you continue to enjoy your hump day my friend..
You don't strike me as a procrastinator. You come across as a do-er.
I had that problem when writing an email or a post for my business. I had an idea of what to say but could not find the motivation to actually do it. This put pressure on myself because I knew I had to do it.
How I got past that and now have a tool in a way to get over that hump or chasm depending on how you look at it is in using AI to write the letter or post. Grant it, you have to tell the AI by explaining everything to it at first. The purpose of the email. The way you want to project it to the person receiving it. The points that you want to make and the tone you want to use. Whether is a business or a more leisure and relaxed way. You want to let the AI know what and how you want to say it. You can review what it gives you and have it change and adapt it till it is to your liking.
It's like having a secretary, and telling it what you want it to say and how you want it say it. The interesting thing is, the more you use AI, the program starts learning what your preferences are and adapts to your way of seeing things. I find it an amazing tool to help get over those moments when you are stuck. For me it is no different than using the spell check feature of any writing program. We use it today and we have gotten use to it. Even writing blogs, when you write certain words, the words that get highlighted, is a form of AI telling you that this word isn't is in question.
But then again, if you prefer to continue remaining stuck in the Faust mode, than rather trying to use an able secretary to get through those moments stuck in the mud so to speak, have at it!
My problem is that I know exactly what I want to say. One of the emails is only a one-liner!
Probably. Hope land sale to your satisfaction
I very much hope so too.
@spunkycumfun still the escape plan, or reinvest for return, or hide from wife
@bignicktx The sale of the land just gives me much-needed options.
Procrastination ultimately leads to motivation. Besides, sometimes the things you don't do just seem to disappear altogether. I doubt that will happen with your emails though . . .
You've made a great case for procrastination. I feel better already!
