His pole had been in the water for hours, without a nibble. During that time, he watched the woman, sitting upstream, catch and release fish, after fish, after fish. Every cast of her line brought in another fish. She would look at it, shake her head disgustedly, and throw it back. He decided to call it quits for the day but, before leaving, he had to see what was going on. NO fisherman should look so sad with that kind of success.
"Having any luck?" he asked.
"No," she replied, tossing another fish back in the river. "I'll never catch my dinner at this rate."
"But, I've watched you catch 20 fish, at least."
"I'm not going to clean and cook 20 fish. That's too much work," she replied. "I just want one that will satisfy me."
My luck is the same, sister!
