Interesting list there. I like the last one a lot but have to say one of the perks of true maturity is knowing when the let the inner child out. Unfortunately some people think being mature is keeping the inner child in prison.
Sending you big naked hugs.
and some people think that "old" is a four-letter word
Amen sister!!!
Soooo ... you say the same thing to tailgaters? 🤣
@superbjversion2 Not really, it's usually short and quick and loud.
#4 When I am in a stationary left turn lane with a car in front of me and a car behind me, I like to turn off my turn signal to see if it the driver ahead or behind is the one who goes into panic mode first. No one has lost consciousness yet, but I keep hoping.
Odds are they never noticed
@superbjversion2 (From an existential view, did an unobserved turn signal ever exist?) Whereas my life's mission is to make the world a better place, I have decided to reduce the anxiety level of all turn-signal zealots by using my turn signal to indicate which side of my garage I'm going to park on. ( I promise not to park in the center as that would destroy them.)
@SoGood2Know In support of your endeavors, I shall use my turn signal to indicate which way I am going after I back out of the garage.
@superbjversion2 That sounds so dangerous to me. When backing up, it would seem the right turn signal indicates a left turn and vice versa. This apparent contradiction will surely cause some brains to freeze thus leading to possible undesirable consequences. This explains why a certain community of drivers is advocating for all garages and parking spots to be one-way pull-throughs.
@SoGood2Know Ah! I would not use my signal while backing up, rather when I'm in drive but you'd have to see my parking situation to understand.
@superbjversion2 I'll put that on my todo list. Or is that my tosee list?
All fine comments indeed. My favorite is #2.
I'm sure if those tailgaters actually heard me (I do say it out loud when driving), I'd never get rid of them!
Yeah, I've come across the #6s many a time on this site 🙄
I think a lot of us have dealt with 6s
I love them!!
Thanks!
I see #4 everyday and it drives me up a wall.
If there was poll on pet peeves, I bet #4 would show up in the top 10
Re #6……it’s not a law or a commandment, douche bags. 💁🏻♀️
We know what they're thinking after reading #6 ... If I tell the truth, I won't get laid.
I have experienced #6 many a time!! Great list.
#6 is aggravating!
1a. Do I have to drive an F150?
1a1. If I am not a bully, can I still apply?
Nope, nope and more nope. No tailgating allowed!
All are worthy of something
A great symposium contribution. I like the way you interpreted the challenge as a letter addressed to someone.
I've been known to "say" things to people - especially neighbors - in a note. Dear Person seemed the way to go.
Good ones, especially #7.
Seems the word "old" is not politically correct.
