The Origin

It was a quiet night at the Delta Iota Kappa fraternity. Andy and Fred were in the common room, feeling mellow, when Flip stormed in. He grabbed a beer and chugged it down in one breath. Then the rant started ...

"I am so tired of these sorority chicks! Ya fuck 'em a coupla times and suddenly they're planning a wedding. I thought this was the 'age of free love'. I just want a hook-up. Why is that so hard?!"

Andy and Fred looked at each other. "You could always get a hooker."

"Geez. What college guy can afford one of those," Flip said. "There's got to be an easier way to get sex ... other than dating." He flopped into the bean bag chair, dejectedly. Fred knew it was time to roll a joint.

"Maybe we should start a sex club," said Andy.
"Maybe we could tell guys they'd get laid. Guaranteed," added Fred.
"Maybe charge admission. It would cover the cost of beer and stuff," suggested Flip.

As the night lengthened, (and the joint shortened) the frat brothers tossed more and more ideas around, each more ludicrous than the last.

Finally, Flip said, "We still have the problem of getting women."

The house mother arrived just then, with a tray of much needed snacks. She had been listening to their conversation, with a great deal of amusement. "You need older women. Women who aren't looking for an 'M.R.S.' degree," she said. "If you build it; they will come."

The next morning, over a very late breakfast, the three boys had a good chuckle over their idea and then let it fade away with the night. Until ...

It was a twenty year Delta Iota Kappa alumni reunion. Andy, Fred, and Flip were excited to see each other again. They caught up with each other's lives, talked about the changes in the world and after a few drinks, the talk turned to sex. Andy said,

"Hey guys. Remember that idea about a sex club?"

It probably didn't happen that way but it could have.
