Ghosts live everywhere, and are especially active around Halloween.😶
After reading a few other comments, I believe you are absolutely correct and we are in the midst of a major haunting!
They don't deserve you.
Thanks for thinking so. I'm certain I don't deserve that kind of treatment.
@superbjversion2
Lemme guess...a story about a woman finding out what AFF is right? If im wrong please message me...don't wanna spoil too much
There are as many versions of this tale as movies about Batman (maybe more)
@superbjversion2
Reminds me of many catsuit fantasies
Full black latex and boots
"Act 1, Scene 3" Kinda seemed like an indication of things to, or in this case, not to come. He should have at least said "Thanks, but things have changed!" Life has a habit of doing that, but at least be curteous about it and let the other party know!
Act 1, Scene 3 ... foreshadowing. 😁
I've heard enough versions of this...sorry it happened to you. Hope you enjoyed the walk.
It was a perfect fall day for a walk in the woods, along the river ... of course, I enjoyed it.
@superbjversion2 Jill Scott sang "Let take a long walk..." Sometimes those are nice to clear ones head! To detatch from the mindless idots who give false hope and leave a mark against an already .......enough of that!! I hope others will step up and be the good guy!!!
@dafocker44 Hope is never false though often unfulfilled.
At least he showed that he’s a douchebag before meeting.
My profile says that I am smoke and drug intolerant. I may have to add douchebag to that list.
Love it
Thanks.
I had 2 recents similar. Here it is. A zero expectation of follow through. Zero. If something occurs, tread lightly. His sincerity or lack of will show eventually. The men here are like a man with a tv remote. He doesn’t want to see what is on tv, he wants to see what else is on. No, I’m not jaded at all. 🙄
The fact that he didn't text as soon as he got my number had me very prepared for nothing happening. Still annoying, though.
Man is a dick who doesn't appreciate how lucky he was just for Woman to contact him at all. Woman has had lucky escape. Woman should come to Scotland!
Woman pens new play in one act: Kilted!
I'm at a loss to explain his behaviour.
My first (rational) thought is that he expected me to come to his hotel that night, not suggest a lunch meet.
So true, on both sides. I have been ghosted just like the lady in the blog.
This tale is a very common denominator around here.
Yet another jerk of a man ... I wish I was surprised.
He is missing out.
A long walk sounds wonderful
Hugs!!
I may have been disgruntled but I wasn't really surprised. Sad to say.
I'm guessing this is an ALL TOO common story. Sorry lady, surely his loss, but wasted your time too I realize.
Thanks. To be fair ... I didn't sit around at home pining for his call.
Oh my gosh, I'm sorry that happened to whomever that woman is. This site, I swear, it attracts some of the worst people.
Very few people on here are wonderful, the rest are flakes and bots.
That sounds like a cereal "Bots & Flakes!"
"Bot & Flakes" ... I'm not too far from Kellogg's. I'll get that idea to them. 😁
Whomever that woman is? Really? You know of whom I write.
@superbjversion2 yes! of course I know.
I'm sending her big hugs.
Had something super similar last weekend. Ugh. So annoying. Hugs
Is there, perhaps, a dating challenge happening? Like ... how many women can you get to agree to meet without actually meeting them. Win a year of Gold.
@superbjversion2 Who knows. But it is super annoying. My last 3 messages were left on "read" with no replies. Grrr
Grrrrrr.
I am so jaded that I started telling men who claimed to be moving to my area that they should feel free to get back in touch once they've actually moved. Reason being, often I felt like that line was a scammy attempt to get a conversation going in hopes that it would lead to cyber sex.
No shade on cyber sex, it just doesn't happen to be my thing.
The Man in your story may have actually been in your town but probably was not brave enough to follow through. I'm glad you regained gruntleness!
I'm not deleting his number (yet) just in case there was a legitimate emergency ... like a coma.
I thought you had snagged my phone at one point. Such an unfortunately common occurence. Happened this past weekend if I'm being honest...times 2. Hey, I'm not without a backup plan! Lol.
Twice?! That would upgrade disgruntled to extremely irked!
That made me laugh and appreciate what you typed coming from the other side. I, for one, mean what I say but it is not always reciprocated. In other, words, so true!
Reverse the roles and it's still a believable tale.
@superbjversion2 Yes, it absolutely is believable and I have experienced it.
