Those are a crap shoot.
Most of the one's given are usually pure bullshit.
Member does have to approve anything said though, easier to just have a blog, to get around the Gold and Standard member ways of communicating, if one so chooses to do so.
Just saying !!

Interesting concept....I wonder if it could be an undercover communication method. Like speaking in codes or something.
I don't know if the one who it is posted to can respond or rebut tho.
I have never left one , but I've had two posted ....one is unfavorable. I had to approve it to post and I let it go through because I feel it says more abt him than it does about me.
I think you should try it as an experiment and report back.

I been on a lot of profiles and never noticed if they were gold or not and the women give out their personal information if the profile says add your testimonial some do say that and others have to be read and approved by the profile person..not the site I suppose the site can see that but I seen testimonials approved by the owner of the profile that gives out personal information..slip up by the site? cannot catch everything..lol

It used to be that anyone could leave a testimonial but I think I remember hearing that the site changed that some time ago. Now I think it is only gold members who can leave testimonials. If standard members want to communicate all they need to do is own a blog!

I hear what you're asking, and I suppose it could be. Tho I haven't seen anyone do that. Probably because most people don't pay a lot of attention to them. I have some but since a lot of them are from people I haven't met (and realistically speaking, probably never will) they really don't mean much.
I may post them, but the thing is, to me it's more of a thank you to someone that paid a complement. But the truth is, as a communication ploy I think if it worked it would be a real long shot.

If you are seeking ways to communicate with standard members there are easier ways to proceed. Start a blog. Create a Private Mail Box on that blog. Standard members will be able to exchange messages with you. Works great. I use it on my blog all the time. Visit my blog for an example of how it looks and works. Best of luck.

From yester years...during the infant stages of the WWW....What I experienced was "testimonials" were used by members to "share their comments on a the actual meeting of that member."
A few things might have changed over the years, site and/or member approval, notification, etc. and as for what levels have those abilities, I'm not sure of.
I was a subscription paying member at that time, did compose a few and had a few written about me by others, but it was only because one of the parties requested it.

This site is a complete waste. I will not renew my membership once it expires in a couple of months. If you like FAKE photos, incoherent messages and pussy / dick pictures - this is the site for you.

I have a paid membership, and can contact anyone I choose. I'm asking because I see so many standard members complaining here about not being able to contact people. I was just wondering why they wouldn't, or shouldn't use the testimonials as a why to establish contact. The rudeness was totally unnecessary.

Interesting... Perhaps standard members can't give testimonials? I do agree that letting folks confirm the "realness" of others using the site would be more important that money. Likely, if the site allowed members to weed the place out, it could be more successful.
